The environment will again take second place under the latest round of cuts by the Newman Liberal National Government.
Minister for Environment Tony Burke and Acting Attorney-General Jason Clare today condemned Premier Newman’s decision to cut funding from the Environmental Defender’s Office (EDO) of Northern Queensland, based in Cairns, and EDO Queensland, based in Brisbane.
